Personal Development Programmes
Personal development plays a significant role in students’ overall success during and after secondary school. So, programmes like mentoring, guidance and counseling and gender talks are put together to help the students understand their personalities better and form the right mindset about every relevant activity within and outside the school.
Leaders are lifelong learners. We inculcate a continuous learning culture in our students. Mentoring, prefects’ selection process, tutoring and anchoring of programmes are deployed to instill leadership ability in the students. Students are enrolled in the African Leadership Academy and Sea School for Advanced Leadership Training (ALT).
For advanced training towards becoming a better individual, students are enrolled in the United World College (UWC) for the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma programme
In order to give students a real life experience and prepare them ahead of what they are likely to encounter in their chosen career fields, they are exposed to practical and hands-on experience through internships. The students are attached to suitable organisations within their chosen career path as interns.
As part of extracurricular activities, there are different clubs that students can join, based on their interests and ability. The clubs are divided into three categories:
1. Subject-based: Jet club, art club, young farmers club, drama club, mathematics club, ICT club, and readers’ club, literary and debating club.
2. Vocational-based: Music, photography and videography club, press club, fashion club, woodwork and design club.
3. Sport and leisure: tennis club, badminton club, volleyball club, and chess club.
